Early Beacon Style Robe...
Design - Here we have a beautiful early 1920s Beacon style blanket robe or train coat. It is made from a soft wool flannel with a navy blue background and and a tan flower print with Native American style patterning throughout. It it is full length with large hooks to close it the entire length and features a sailor style collar, two front pockets, a maroon corded silk sash and the outlines of a raspbery red silk trim on the collar, cuffs and pockets. This is a wonderful early example of these kind of lounge wear that were also used in public for comfort while traveling.

Sleeve- 21" (Keep in mind that the shoulder line extends over the shoulders a bit, which give more length to the sleeve)
Condition - This robe is in good condition with some of the large hooks having been replaced. The is some piling to the flannel and the original silk trim is now just outlines on the robe, which can be replaced with consideration for time to allocate the material and the cost of our tailor to do restoration. It can easily be worn just as it is though. It comes to you in clean, ready-to-wear vintage condition.
