Fantastic 1940s black gabardine bespoke DB trench coat with belt & buckle, top stitching. MED

1940s Film Noir Trench coat...

Design - Here we have an exceptionally well made bespoke, 1940s in a fine, midnight black gabardine. The style of this completely evokes the Film Noir genre. It features a double breast with buttons up the front, a belt with black leather buckle and top stitched rows, a double button cuff strap and top stitching throughout. Small, circular air vents have even been added underneath each arm and, slight, extending shoulder pads. The inside has french seams throughout and there is button access to each bit of lining, two hidden buttons closing the back vent. It is clearly a bespoke piece with insane attention to construction. This is one of those classic pieces that will be a gorgeous and versatile lifetime coat...minus the murder mystery.
