Great 1950s leather and wool Whiting two tone varsity jacket with Indian head patch, football, red & White, Size LG

Fit For A Warrior...

Design - This is great 1950s two tone varsity jacket made from maroon or red wool with with white leather arms and red and yellow ribbing. It's best feature is the original indian head patch with its colorful war bonnet. Also embroidered on the jacket is the name of the high school, Tulare, and the sport, football, both done in yellow. The two slash pockets in the front are also trimmed with the white leather. The jacket also features a ribbed red and yellow shawl collar, Whiting Los Angeles on the red snap buttons and grey lining.

Condition - This jacket is in fair condition, meaning it has had many holes in the ribbing and body of the jacket that have been mended and there was something that happened that caused a pulling and hardening of the leather on a spot on the upper left sleeve. Leather conditioner has been applied but there is still some hardening. Despite these things it is still very wearable and has been priced accordingly. It comes to you in clean, ready-to-wear vintage condition.
