Design - Here we have a beautiful bakelite brooch in cherry red. It is the classic bar brooch with an Asian theme, featuring a Chinese character and Asian figure in goldtone. The bar is made up of solid cherry red bakelite and has a an ornate braided piece connecting the larger, angular main bakelite piece. The color is rich and exquisite. This is a simply gorgeous oversized bakelite brooch from the late 1920s early 1930s.
