Heavily Patina'd Horsehide Beauty...

Design - Here we have a classic example of a 1950s horsehide bomber jacket. It features a faux fur collar, ribbed cuffs and waist, two front flap pockets and a fantastic patina and wear that only horsehide can give along most edges of the jacket on the sleeves and across the upper back panel of the jacket. It is lined in red, quilted nylon.

Material - chocolate brown leather, talon zip (50s style) wool ribbing, faux fur.

Maker - No makers mark. Only the name of wear it was sold "Walter Smiths - Fresno California" (Department store for Men operational in 1940s and 1950s) and another label that states it is "Genuine Horsehide" Please message me for the photo of the labels.

Sleeve- 24 3/4"


Condition - The jacket is in good vintage condition. It has signs of wear and use to the leather. The ribbing is intact with the exception of one small repair to the ribbing next to the bottom piece of leather attached to the zipper start. It comes to you in clean, ready-to-wear vintage condition.
