Design - Here we have a fantastic printed cotton middy from the 1940s, or possible earlier. Our research did not pinpoint this blouse to one specific women's military branch and we could not find an example. To date this little beauty we are going solely on the wartime imagery, and assuming it hails from the WWII era and not earlier when these middy's were even more in fashion.

It features a great military cotton print in red, white and blue colors, with an eagle emblem with a bomb and stripes or the same emblem with a target or with anchors. It has the classic middy sailors collar and large cuffed midway sleeves. It is has a 1920s square cut and is not fitted like other middy's of the 1940s, but it was definitely made during war time.
