What to Wear When Adventure Calls...
Design - Here we have an absolutely fabulous 1920s trench coat in a beautiful deep navy blue capeskin leather. It features a double breasted collar with a high back, double rows of blue swirl bakelite buttons down the front, a belted waist with a celluloid buckle, raglan sleeves and stitched cuffs with two bakelite button adornments, two slash pockets below the belt and a slightly dropped waist. The deep and rich navy blue leather is soft as supple. This coat is warm cozy as well, with it's lining made from wool and sleeves lined in silk.
I always hesitate to use the word rare as it is largely overused in this day and age but I will say that it truly is rare to find leather women's trench coat from 1920s, especially lone like this, exploding with unique color and a design that seems quintessentially film noir. A truly unique and beautiful piece.
Material - capeskin leather, bakelite buttons, celluloid belt
