Bayocean...Where did you go?

Design - Here we have an absolutely fantastic, early resort wear, sports wear, one-piece that's part of a fascinating history. Bayocean is embroidered on the front of the piece. Bayocean was a short-lived and lively little, Oregon, resort town built on a sand spit and known to have entirely, slipped into the sea. So amazing that this piece remains. Overall these early, womens, pieces are rarely for sale on the open market and found mostly in museum collections so take advantage of this opportunity to own such a rare and wonderful example that is attached to a fascinating history. If that wasn't enough, its also just absolutely full of timeless style.

Material - black and red cotton with black corozo buttons and red embroidery.

Maker - J.J. Pfister Knitting Co. - San Francisco, Cal. - Size 36
