Hawaiian Casual Pake Muu


Design - This late 1940s vibrant Pake Muu gown comes to full of soft slinky novelty print rayon with large and vibrant anthurium depictions throughout. It features the classic kimono style sleeves, fitted waist, two slits on each side trimmed in the eye catching crimson red trim that also adorns the inside of the sleeves, peeking out at every turn of the arm and then finally closed at the neck with two matching crimson frog closures. These gowns were made to completely complement the female form with the added drama of the sleeves and bold print patterns, making these pieces so wildly collectible.

*Keep in mind that this kimono dress was designed to be tied at the waist and fitted to the wearer with batwing type sleeves. So it can fit a few different sizes.

Condition - This dress is in great vintage condition. The only condition issue to note is a pin head spot of minor lightening near the front right armpit. It comes to you in clean ready-to-wear condition.
