A Persian Series Bakelite Dreem...


Design - Here we have a stunning bakelite piece from the 1930s. This sabre brooch hails from what was known during the era and by collectors as the "Persian Series". This exceptionally large pin features a rootbeer bakelite handle with brass ornamentation and circular carvings and a slightly swirled butterscotch blade. A triple layered brass chain connects the handle and the blade. Swords or sabers such as this are considered "book pieces". As you can see this piece is truly an Art Deco era show stopper!
